Temporary Suspension of Orders to the USA

Due to recent changes to United States import tariff requirements, SSAV Jewellery Wholesale has temporarily suspended all international orders to the USA and Puerto Rico.

Australia Post, our international shipping provider, has announced the immediate suspension of parcel services to the USA following the introduction of Trump administration tarrifs, which comes into effect on 29 August 2025.

According to Australia Post:

“As a result of the recently introduced changes to the import tariff requirements set out in US Executive Order 14324, Australia Post has joined a number of international postal operators to temporarily suspend partial postal services to the United States (US) and Puerto Rico, effective immediately until further notice.

This decision has been made to ensure compliance with the new US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirements. Specifically, the requirement for duties and taxes to be prepaid on all shipments prior to their arrival in the US.”

What This Means for Our Customers

• Orders to the USA and Puerto Rico are temporarily on hold.

• We are closely monitoring updates from Australia Post and the US Customs and Border Protection regarding when services may resume.

• At this stage, there is no confirmed date for when normal shipping operations will recommence.
